Life in a trench
As I was moving through the trench into the mud I get stuck. One man came to help me get out and then we sprint back to our trench. my mate takes cover. We grab our guns and run out of the trench. we start to shoot at the enemies. I run to see my mate for some more ammo because I ran out of ammo. He didn't have some but my other mate did. he give me some of his ammo.
As i run, i remember that no one was covering me. as i run out of the trench, enemies fired at us. I tried to take cover when my partner covered me.
we continued running forward but we both got shot .

What i did well?
I read about what some other kids had written about life in the trenches. this made me want to write my own.
Impalar,
ReplyDeleteYour writing had me nervously reading to the end to see what happened. What were those trenches like that they were running through? Could you describe them a bit more? At the top of your post your had a space for some Art. It would be great to see it inserted in here. If you need help to do that ask me on Tuesday when I am in class and I will show you how.
Kia ora, I am Ryan from Ormond School.
